Kate Milligan girlfriend of NRL star Greg Bird broke the news yesterday to the Daily Telegraph that despite her fractured eye socket and formidable bruising, she will stand by her man.
NRL star Greg Bird is facing charges for glassing Milligan in the eye after a heated debate in their beach front Cronulla apartment late last week.
The Sharks lock forward will face court later this week to recognise his fate as either a cooked or lucky bird.
Milligan has not made up her mind whether or not she will give further evidence to the case at all after refusing to testify to the court against her partner, she explained;
"I want people to know that Greg and I are still very much together," ... Yes, I still love him."
Like us, the Cronulla Sharks Club have asked Bird to stand down indefinately from playing to avoid supporting such behaviour.
So Boo's what do you make of the matter. At Bellaboo we are strongly against abuse and violence ecspecially to women. In fact, we promote positive role models and positive lifestyle for all women from all walks of life!

I personally think what Milligan is doing is a bit crazy and naive. I heard this on the radio today and after your boyfriend abuses you (especially when the condition is so serious it requires hospital treatment as well as court hearings) I think she should have packed her bags and leave. Unless Bird has a very good reason for the result or Milligan is too naive, I think the outcome was a bit ridiculous.

While at bb hq we are big NRL and greg bird fans, there comes a point where anger and frustration can only go so far! i suppose we will never really know the true story and may but it down to fault in character, but the message here is, is that violence against women is a massive no no!
