Music: Mutya Buena, Sum 41 and Just Jack

Mutya Buena
Real Girl

This CD is not my usual style of music but I have to say some of the songs on it are quite good. The style reminds me a bit of Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keyes. So fans of those artists will get into this album!

My favourite song on the album is track 3 - Song for Mutya with Groove Armada. Considering this isn’t usually the style of music that I really like, I actually found this album quite enjoyable.

Sum 41
Underclass Hero

I’ve always been a fan of Sum 41’s music. They are a refreshing mix of punk rock meets alternative. My favourite song on this album would have to be Underclass Hero. Although, all of the songs on the album are pretty awesome. If you’re not a fan of punk rock then this probably isn’t the CD for you. If you’re a fan of Sum 41 then this album definitely won’t let you down.

Just Jack
Overtones

This album was the most interesting I have reviewed. You can’t really pigeon hole it into a certain style. It’s a bit like a mix of the Streets and Death Cab for Cutie. I had never heard of this band before but I found them quite interesting to listen to. The more you listen to it the more you like. I found some of the songs a bit repetitive at times but overall I found this quite an interesting album and I recommend it to all those fans of the Streets and Death Cab for Cutie.
