Kate Nash Made of Bricks "Made of Bricks" is a great compilation of songs by Kate Nash. Her music and song writing is quite abstract, but tasteful all the same. The CD was voted the UK's number one album. It is great for soft background music, or to pump out at a girl's night (I know for me, my friends and I have had many, many car trips and sleepovers belting out the lyrics to her song Foundations). This is definitely a good buy.

Amy Macdonald This Is The Life This wasn't really my type of music but the one track that I did get into was This is the Life. But, if you are into acoustic, folk rock sounds you will get into this. Youth of Today was written when she was 15 and Footballers Wives is a dig at inane Barbie girls. The lyrics are far beyond would you expect from a girl who is just 19.

Sugababes Change This is the Sugababe's fifth album and it is predictable - same style hip hop, pop tunes that are easy on the ears. The title track Change is a cool little number that will have you bopping around your room. If you like your club grooves you will get into this one. It's what you can expect from the Sugababes - nothing more, nothing less. Ok, but not exactly inspiring.

Hairspray Soundtrack of the Motion Picture If you loved the movie then obviously you are gonna love this CD. Every single song sung in the movie - and there were plenty - features on this compilation. All are original songs, not covers. There are some very "musical hype" style tunes that are a little cringe-worthy but then there are some fun tunes that will have you tapping your feet and, who knows, getting you up on your feet and dancing!
