2. Aviva Labs Sunless Tanning Gel
This great tanning lotion is both oil- and alcohol-free so you don't have to worry about any damage to your skin, unlike the sun! It also contains moisturising ingredients to both hydrate as well as gain a cool summer tan! The smell, unlike most fake tans, is refreshing and smells cleansing, rather than fried rice! I'm sure we are all very familiar with that famous fake tan whif! This tanning gel is also great as the usual fake tan streak is much easier to avoid, as long as you rub it in properly. Don't cut corners!

3. Fake Bake Self Tanning Mousse
This tan product surprised me because I had never seen a foam fake tan before. I was instantly attracted to the colour of the packaging (which is gold) . The product was easy to use, it did not leave my hand looking orange and neither did it turn out orange on my legs. It smells like baby powder, which I loved about it. I look golden brown and feel great, which is hard to find. My friends were very surprised when I told them my tan was fake. They all wanted to know which product I used and where to get it!

4. Hot Legs, Hot Tan-Frangipani Tanning Cream
Unlike other tanning creams, this one has an invigorating frangipani scent that masks the typically strong fake tan smell. Upon application, I found that the cream went on real smoothly but that you needed quite a large quantity in proportion to the surface you want to cover. This tan only took up to 4 hours to develop and had a great colour. It was quite light the first application so for a darker tan, you would probably need to apply 2 or 3 times. A bonus to this colour was that it faded naturally.

6. LE Tan Le Can Jet Dry Spray
Le Tan in Le Can is a real natural bronze colour and doesn't have that off orange look, unlike some other self tanners. The spray on application is easy to use and it dries fast, so it doesn't leave marks all over your clothes. It has a nice light fragrance and gives you a nice even tan. I know I will definitely put this to use with summer coming up.

7. Le Tan Self Tan Remover
This is used to wipe out self tan boo-boos. Its great for those tricky areas like elbows and ankles, toes, knees and the palms of your hands. The sooner you put this baby to use the more effective the results will be and it can work up to 24hrs after self tan application. If has a fresh eucalyptus fragrance and I give this very practical summer item the thumbs up!
